The biggest literary event, Delhi book fair goes virtual for the second time
Sadiq Jalal, New Delhi, India: Delhi Book Fair 2021 is coming to your screens! It brings to you its second virtual avatar organised by the Federation of Indian Publishers, hosted by pragatiE and co-hosted by CAPEXIL from 3rd-5th September, 2021. The Federation has decided to conduct the exhibition virtually for the second time again due to the amazing response and participation received last year. The approach towards a digital initiative stands in comparison to the positive changing pattern of virtual platforms with the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The book fair will be hosted by pragatiE, a technologically advanced and innovative events platform that organises a multitude of small and large events virtually/digitally. Bringing the physical environment to a virtual platform, the Delhi Book Fair will have something for everyone. Buying your favorite books, meeting / interacting with your favorite authors & publishers, participating in games and contests, listening to thought provoking webinars from experts & industry leaders, engaging through mental health and sustainability pavilions, FIP annual awards and many more, it will be a bonanza like none other.
DBF 2021 has 2 key themes which will have their own pavilion. They will be ‘Mental Health’ and ‘Sustainability’’. Organizations like TERI, WWF, Mobius Foundation, Climate Reality will be present as participants in the pavilion on sustainability. Fabricating Sustainability for a resourceful human existence and exploring avenues for an improved Mental Health for people of all ages are the core ethics of the 27th edition of Delhi book fair.
The global tonality of the fair even provides a platform for advertisers, sponsors, and exhibitors in creating potential networks along with brand promotion and showcase on an international marketplace. The platform for this event at pragatiE is a complete 360° enabled setup which provides an immersive virtual experience. It will be equipped with a new and improved marketplace to facilitate the sale of books and is also laced with features that allow live video calls and integration of WhatsApp messenger.

Last year's Delhi Book fair was the largest virtual book fair till that point of time with 2 Lac+ visitors and this year will be even bigger.
